The Venice Market was just down the road from our hotel. I love this painting because you don't usually associate Venice, Italy with a large market on a street. It is the image of waterways and boats that comes to mind.

It is a very busy painting, lots to look at. . I even put my own cat Doobie in there. I am very pleased that it will be in the parents room at Vancouver's Children's Hospital for a while.
